recently we had my son's third birthday

party.  it was a superhero themed party,

complete with capes, balloons, tissue

puffs, stars, and of course, cake.

one thing, however, was blatantly missing.

serving ice cream at birthday parties has

always been a laborious task.  scooping

out ice cream to crowds of twenty or

more will give me carpal tunnel.

but serving ice cream by the slice?

brilliant.
